The Voices

There are voices fighting on me,

Struggling against each other,

They both want to be heard by me,

Suggesting of which to utter.

I’d like to taste the sweetest fruit;

But here comes the witch poisoned me,

My eyes ached – forget what’s the root,

Deceived by lies and fallacy.

Every time I’m in the dark road,

It seems there is a voiceless shout,

Calling my name – there is no doubt –

With tenderness in every word.

Confusion, deceit, delusion,

Offers the way to destruction.

Grievance, under the deepest pit,

Will haunt you down meanly and rip.

Wisdom, love, faith, kindness and truth,

Will lead the way from South to North.

       Ever since they implemented a protocol about the restrictions in using plastic, the city of Marikina became even more neat and beautiful. Thanks to the people of Marikina who had greatly supported this kind of resolution not just to maintain cleanliness but also to help our mother earth's regeneration. This will never be effective, of course, without the help of our beloved, dedicated, concerned citizens of Marikina.
     This only shows that  Excellence, Good Taste, and Discipline is well-observed.

Marikina not only have a clean city but also offering quality services such as; the City Health Office which prioritizes all the Marikeños by providing discounts and free medications, and the Marikina City Police that maintains the peace and security of the whole city. Children can freely enroll in public schools which each barangay has.This city had become the model city of other cities because of the beauty, it possess. 

There are so many things to be discussed about but I believe this will only be useless if you don't try to be in Marikina. So try and explore!

The Fault In Our Stars [Movie Review]

Many people would say for sure that life is unfair. Well, this is really possible especially to those people who are in great suffering and distress. We are living in the world which was meant for decay and bounded with trials and struggles. And we cannot escape the fact that we have to, each individual, face DEATH.

 "Where there is hope, there is life", this line captured my soul when I heard this in the movie - The Fault In Our Stars. Even though the movie is quite tragic, I was inspired to live for more and use my whole being to do more valuable things in life. It seems that it talks about a person who is going to die with a cancer and just waiting for the curtains of life to close but the movie is more than that. It talks about LIFE. It talks about how people should live on and how precious time is to do a lot of things that would satisfy their wholeness as a human being. This movie suggests to appreciate and contend of the things you have in life. "God wishes people to be happy... At such moment, I can't think about the misery but the beauty that still remains." -Ann Frank

Remember that life is precious. Life is beautiful and wonderful, full of joy and happiness. But you should also accept the fact that no matter how good you are and how well you are, everything has an end. Pictures fade and waters dry. There will be rain and sooner it stops. Life is a matter of valuing things. Your efforts and good works might be forgotten by the people around you but the name you have imprinted in their heart will never be gone. You will realize that putting a better end of one person's life story is not by accepting what you want to hear but by facing the reality with the people you love.

We are now facing great crises; financial instability, economic downfall, over population, decreasing and almost dying natural resources and so on. All of these things were all given including, corruption which has a big contribution in many issues that we are still fighting to abolish. This was also what we had inherited from the invaders long before while in fact, Filipinos were known as decent, humble, obedient, and moral people. But what made me really bothered is the fading union of Filipino people; fighting against each other (the government vs. the Filipino people), declaration of independence (Mindanao as a nation), changing of citizenship and businesses abroad (patronizing other countries) which only results to DIVISION. I am not striking against my own blood, but rather trying to wake up my fellow men to rise up and cling on to right-mindedness.

Are we the one who made the wrong decision to select those persons who are in the “royal throne” as the leaders of the nation? Or did we just give our part to vote for them but then they failed to do their part to maintain the welfare of the mother land and those people who are living there? Like an old man, we have a fragile system in the government that’s why we are still leaving behind when it comes to improvement. We are still facing the same issue. And worse yet, we are giving so much time to take action with unnecessary issues of individuality rather than solving what is really needed and must be prioritized; poverty, illegal businesses, illegal transactions, injustices and many more rather than making noises about their personal issues at home (adulterous senator, immorality, issues about marriage or third party). Well, I am not saying that we should ignore these things but what I am trying to point out is the capability of each person to think rationally in this point in time especially in facing critical matters about security of our mother land. And I strongly disagree with passing and making not actually useless laws and bills but we can say that there are more things that should be focused on like proper distribution budget in Education, Medication and do one.  

God who rules everything

I, myself, believe that in these times, when the world is getting even worse, words are not enough but actions. If the laws we have come from and based on the ten commandments from the Bible which was given to Moses by God, therefore, God should be the pattern of all things and not out personal and individual standards as human which vulnerable and deceptive that only brings our nation to chaotic condition. A nation without God cannot stand alone and brought forth to destruction which was happening now. But God without a nation remains as He is.
